Valentine Day Special

Valentine Day Special
I love when i catch you staring at me,
I love when my heart skips a beat each time I see you
I love the way you grab and pull me towards you,
I love the touch of your lips when you kiss me
I  love the heat generated when your arms enclose me and hug me really tight,
I love the warmth when you breathe down my neck,
I love the wild streak you bring out in me when you kiss me
I love when you make me wild and make me crazy
I love when you tell me " I am yours"
I love the way you look at me when me make love
I love when i feel your scent , your taste and your body
I love when I go wild when I think of your body on mine
I love when the very thought of you sends ripples inside me
I love when your thoughts make me think wild and dirty,
All i want to be irresistibly desired by you always
All I want us to be together always and forever
Happy Valentine's Day

Trip To North India- Jan 2019

Trip To North India- Jan 2019

My work takes to different places across India. Though the travel can be hectic, it is definitely worth it. Seeing new locations, new people broadens ones outlook towards life. Plus one gains a self-confidence, independence streak which one usually dreams about. For me it gives a kick and I come back energised.
Recently I had been to North India sometimes in January where, I had to travel to Delhi, then Bhiwadi (Rajasthan), Dhaduheda (Haryana), Shahjahanpur   (Rajasthan), and Ludhiana (Punjab).
I had wanted to avoid the dates since the weather would have been cold. Since the travel was fixed and I had no option to postpone, I started preparing for the travel. I shopped for woollens- Thermal, Jacket, sweater, woollen socks, and gloves – All that would be required in these regions. My luggage was already heavy with these woollens and 6 days clothes.
Finally the day came. My flight was in the morning. I had worn the jacket with me since I would require it once I landed to Delhi which is a 2 ½ flight from Bangalore. But when I landed in Delhi it was awfully hot and I was sweating in the jacket. I had a dread feeling that I had unnecessary got the extra luggage with me. I was already cribbing for the whole day and went to the place where my accommodation was booked.
The next day I had to travel to Bhiwadi. But the next day the weather completely changed. It was all gloomy with sky covered with clouds and strong, cold winds blowing. And to top it all I started raining heavily. It was horribly cold weather and what you say in Hindi, “Bin Mausam Barsaat “.  Now I was happy as least my woollens and warm clothes will be fully utilised J .We managed to reach for the meeting in the cab booked which took us to Bhiwadi and Dhaduheda. I had taken my luggage thinking  might have to stay back in either of the 2 locations once meeting gets over and then move on Shahjahanpur from there .
But had a slightly scary experience with the cab booked. The driver who left to fill petrol at 10.30 am did not come back till 2.30 pm.  our attempts to call the driver was not fruitful as he kept saying he is still filling fuel one time, then lost the way , 2nd time and few times saying on the way and reaching in 10 minutes to not even picking up the call . I was scared of losing my luggage so finally called up the customer care of the cab and lodged a complaint. The cab driver came at 2.45 pm with some silly excuse. We managed to complete the second meeting at Dhaduheda and reached Delhi again.
The next trip to Shahjahanpur went on smoothly without any such adventure though the weather was all foggy and cold wind from morning. We had to travel the next day to Ludhiana and we went by train which was 5 hours journey and reached late night. Ludhiana is one of the industrial location in Punjab but very dirty. I could see garbage everywhere particularly plastic dumbed everywhere and with the rain previous night had made it dirtier.  Ludhiana was colder than Delhi. The water was freezing cold. “Kadake ki sardi aur barf jaisa paani aur us par Tandoori wale Aloo Parathe “. I loved hogging the Aloo Parathe laden with Makhan for breakfast. The lunch was street food of Amritsari Chole and Tandoori Roti.  Uff ! Maza Aa Gaya.  Though the meeting was scheduled in the afternoon, it got preponed to morning and had some time before my train back to Delhi. I stepped into the market (Chaura Bazaar) next to the hotel where I stayed and picked up a few stuffs. Ludhiana is famous for Woollens so I picked a sweater for my mother. And I bought a couple of Juthis at a lesser price. Juthis are famous in Punjab and so is Patiala suit. I bought a couple of materials for myself.
It was time for the train to Delhi.   Had to fly to Bangalore the next day the flight being at evening. I did manage to catch up with few of my school friends after 5 years. The warmth and hospitality shown made me feel back at home since the early 26 years of my life was spent here. It was a beautiful experience reuniting with them.

Missing Nikki- 3

Missing Nikki- 3

There are so lovely memories of Nikki that I recall . Not a day passes without remembering her . She had her own bed to sleep and own plate to eat. And she was so possessive about it. She used to growl if anybody touched her belongings. She would love chewing her bone. There are times when she would do nakhras and not eat and I had to act as if I am snatching her plate and eating out of it and she would come running and finish off her grub.  She would not let anybody else sit in her bed which was  also so dear  to her and  growl  if anybody wanted to sit in it even though she was very well aware that we were playing with her.  I still picturise her curling up and sleeping blissfully on it. Her possessive, protectiveness and her love to her litter, cute little 7 puppies was so adorable. Nikki you are missed !

Review For Stree Movie

Review For Stree Movie

Loved watching the movie Stree today . Good combination of horror and comedy . Dialogues are too funny and tickles your ribs. Not much role of Sharaddha Kapoor. Loved the performance of 3 friends played by Rajkumar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee . Definitely an entertaining movie. Go watch it.

Watching Movies Alone in A Theatre– Cannot Do it

Watching Movies Alone  in A Theatre–   Cannot Do it

Movies are something I cannot watch alone. Hence had to ask my good friend to join me.  She is very scared of horror movies and the also last  two times she came with me and one more colleague she had closed her eyes throughout the film and the other  two of us had to translate the entire story to her scene by scene. So this time I knew if I told her it’s a horror movie she would have downright refused hence had had to use strategy to convince her to accompany me . I simply used the word thriller instead of horror and the poor girl would have assumed it to be an out and out action movie . It was only after she bought then tickets did she check the review and realised she’s been duped and was sold an horror movie. She exclaimed “how did you manage to make me buy the tickets for the movie ?” I retorted “ I had  been a sales woman , just polishing my sales skills .” Maybe can get back to  Sales background again J

Anyways it is  a real treat to watch A Quiet Place.   An edge of seat thriller/ horror Movie. It’s a gripping story worth watching. The tension just builds up while watching the movie. Must watch

Herculean Task :

Herculean Task :

I had been thinking till now that the job profile that I am in is so very challenging with the kind of day to day issues one has to deal with be it client interaction , or ground level  interactions, day to day meetings, reports or travelling to client locations ,  to ensure we meet our client mandate in the end.
But it was only till I had to baby sit my niece, did I realise that feeding her lunch or dinner is a much more herculean task. She will be turning two, a cute little angel but can be so difficult when she has to eat . You have to run around her, play games with her, show her some cartoons, carry her behind you, dance with her, make all funny faces , act funny , and god knows what just to divert her attention so she can eat. A much more difficult thing is to ensure she is chewing and swallowing the food in her mouth as most of the time she keeps chewing but forgets to swallow. Which you realise when you ask her to open her mouth and she refuses to do so and out comes the unswallowed food and you have to start the task again. PHEW!!!!!
Babysitting ain't an easy Job .

Missing Nikki-2

Missing Nikki

I often think of Nikki and whenever I do that cannot stop smiling. Though she is no longer with us, she is missed daily. One thing which makes me smile is when I used to take us for a walk daily. Labradors are known to be friendly and she used to wag her tail at everyone and waited to be petted by them. In fact, she had lot of admirers and because of her I made quite a few friends during my morning walk. It once happened while on my usual morning walk, I took Nikki out for a morning walk and met one of dog lovers on the way whom I usually meet often during my walks. Nikki as usual started jumping and wagging her tail to be noticed. That time she was not on leash. My walk friend and Nikki were totally absorbed in petting and being petted.  Nikki totally forgot that she was with me and started following her which really scared me. I was scared what if she goes off with her and other case what if she goes off with any stranger who pets her. That made me wonder will she miss me, remember me. It was that moment when she turned back and looked at me with those pretty eyes which stated very clearly- Relax! I have not forgotten you and am yours. That’s when I heaved a sigh of relief.
